Eddie contacted me december 1947.He asked if I would install a set of his heads on my cadillac/32 roadster for the 1948 january Hotrod Show.My car was on the cover of the Hotrod magazine, on sale at the Hotrod Show,Los Angeles National Guard Armory.
After the show he wanted to sell me the heads. I declined his offer.I was happy with my Arco filled and milled heads. In fact they worked well enough that Ak Miller borrowed my heads to run at the lakes one time. However, Eddies heads looked a lot nicer.

Several years ago, I was able to upgrade my 41 Cadillac with a dual intake and aircleaners - this setup, with the addition of dual exhaust and porters, creates a "motorboat burble" unlike any other flathead.
Nice job on the article!
